Houston prevents viewers to see Silverstone’s naked commercial - 2007-10-18
Alicia Silverstone’s new ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has been banned in Houston, Texas. Local Comcast Cable bosses forbade the spot because the actress appears naked, and they don't want to annoy viewers in Texas. Texas was the place chosen by PETA for the debut of Silverstone's new ad (also available on Peta's website, PETA.org ) because the states' leading cities "repeatedly rank among the least healthy in America." The controversial commercial was directed by Dave Meyers ("Work It" and "Lose Control”).
Alicia and her hubby rejuvenate at Californian retreat - 2007-09-11
Alicia Silvertone and her husband Christopher Jarecki decided to treat themselves at a California resort late in August. The couple went to Dr. Wilkinson's Hot Springs Resort where they received massage, steams sessions, mud baths composed of volcanic ash, mineralized hot springs water and Canadian peat. The actress and her love nourished their body and spirit.

Screen stars Alicia Silverstone, Greg Germann and Jon Tenney start the Geffen Playhouse production of David Mamet's Hollywood parody Speed-the-Plow Feb. 7.Geffen artistic director Randall Arney directs the production, which began previews Jan. 30 on the California theatre's main stage for a run through March 25.
